Our muscle–computer interface technology is designed as a modular, embeddable platform. It can be integrated into wearables, rehabilitation devices, robotics, assistive systems, and smart textiles.
Together with University Hospital Würzburg and the Collaborative Research Center ReTune, we test and develop solutions for neurological disorders and movement impairments by correcting disrupted signals between the brain and muscles.

In the joint project NeurOne, Spinal Cord Center Rummelsberg and FAU with Grasp Again a wearable neuro-bandage has been developed to enable people with spinal cord injuries regain hand function. The system captures minimal muscle signals through ultra-thin textile electrodes and uses AI to translate them into assisted grasping and movement.
